Bridlemile is a Southwest Portland Oregon neighborhood located near Southwest Hills and West Hills bordering Portland proper but technically in Multnomah County. A portion lies within the city limits and extends into Washington County along the Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. It's surrounded by Southwest Hills, Hillsdale, Healy Heights, and the Hayhurst neighborhoods.
Notice one of the more affluent communities, you'll find tons of greenery, beautiful trails, parks, and luxury homes with Fanno Creek running along the southern border of the neighborhood. Steeped in the rich landscape and dense foliage, it's hard to imagine you're just 20 minutes from Portland's city center. This truly is a luxury countryside neighborhood where most of the area is residential but is close to the Hillsdale Beaverton Highway on its southern border with multiple access to businesses, restaurants, and amenities.
Bridlemile is home to about 5000 residents were 74% are homeowners. It's been rated as the #11 best neighborhoods to raise a family in Portland with excellent schools, fantastic housing, diversity, and nightlife.

Things to Do in Bridlemile
There are several parks within Bridlemile such as the Fanno Creek natural area running along the creek, the Thomas City Park, and the open green space area along SW. Thomas St., the Wilcox neighborhood pool and tennis courts, and the largest, the Albert Kelly Park located in the southeast section of the neighborhood along Restoration Creek and the Glencullen Creek, which features picnic tables, plenty of trails, and a playground.
Again, nearly all of Bridlemile is residential but you're never more than about five minutes from shops and restaurants along Highway 10 or SW. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. such as an Albertson's, Rite Aid, Dutch Bros Coffee, Don Pedro #7 take-out, Clubhouse Bar and Grill, and plenty of amenities and services at the intersection of SW. Scholls Ferry Rd. and Southwest Oleson Rd. here you'll find a few supermarkets, gas stations, banks, services, restaurants, and other amenities. Follow Highway 10 a little further west and you're in central Beaverton with plenty more amenities and commercial services such as Trader Joe's and the Home Depot.
Downtown Portland is just 10 minutes northeast at about another five minutes to the other side of the river.
